Based on the following principles, we aim to realize sustainable and highly reliable procurement.

Building Healthy Trading Relationships

We place importance on ongoing dialogue and mutual understanding with our suppliers and other business partners. In light of increases in labor, raw material, and energy costs, we sincerely engage in price consultations and strive to establish fair and sustainable trading relationships through appropriate price determination based on reasonable grounds. We also prevent and eliminate all forms of misconduct, including money laundering, terrorist financing, circular transactions, and self-dealing, and ensure integrity and sincerity in all procurement activities.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

We comply with the relevant laws and regulations of each country and region.

Consideration for Human Rights and the Environment

We promote procurement activities in accordance with the Mitsubishi Pencil Group's "Human Rights Policy" and "Environmental Policy." In addition, we strive to eliminate the use of conflict minerals that may serve as a source of funding for armed groups, and to realize responsible mineral sourcing.

Quality, Safety, and Security

We promote procurement activities in accordance with the Mitsubishi Pencil Group's "Quality Policy."

Supplier Selection Criteria

The Mitsubishi Pencil Group comprehensively evaluates domestic and overseas suppliers based on the "Mitsubishi Pencil Supplier Code of Conduct" when selecting them.
